Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Thank You all for sharing your wonderful stories and memories of my Father. It is with deep regret that neither my Brother David Nor I will be able to attend our father's funeral. David and I Both loved our Father Dearly and are heartbroken from his passing. We have plans to reunite next time we are both in Winnipeg and to take "Dad" to a Baseball game with us, as you all know he loved it greatly. David and I will be spreading most of our Fathers ashes at a place we used to go fishing with him as kids and I myself, will be having a memorial necklace made with Dad's ashes in it so that one day he might be able to "Walk me down the aisle", should the occasion arise. Thank You all for your love and support. We love you all. - Posted by: Kelly Durham (Daughter) on: Oct 07, 2015

  • When we were kids, it was always exciting to see Uncle Lorne's car pull up in the driveway because he always thoughtfully came bearing gingerbread men or chocolate bars for my sister and I. You will be fondly remembered Uncle Lorne. Say hi to Uncle Tom, and make sure the two of you stay out of trouble! - Posted by: Tammy Johnson (Niece) on: Oct 06, 2015

  • Thanks for being a great Uncle! I have many childhood memories of you that I will always remember! Keep an eye on Uncle Tom for us! Rest in Paradise. - Posted by: Tanya Dunn (Niece) on: Oct 05, 2015

  • I will fondly remember Lorne as a kind uncle to my children. He was also a polite brother-in-Law, showing regular kindness and respect to his mother-in-law, my deceased mother. Lorne was the kind of Dad one hears speak of getting down on the floor with his children to play. My special needs adult son received friendly kindness from his uncle Lorne when visiting Juniors restaurant for a burger. May you rest in peace. - Posted by: Dorothy Dalgliesh (uncle by marriage to my two sons) on: Oct 03, 2015
