Still fondly remember our champagne flights driving from Winnipeg to Bemidji with Wayne, Claude Laurin, George Motoch and myself. Great times had by all. Wayne was always fun to be around and had a great sense of humour. - Posted by: Lloyd John Fell (Friend from our Bemidji days) on: Apr 24, 2016

My late husband, Gerry, and I thoroughly enjoyed time with Wayne, his wife Deb and his children Jordon and Kayla. Wayne and I were also colleagues in School District 57. Since we had no family in Prince George we became part of our 'Prince George family' with two other couples. We were so blessed to share family time with each other over a 20 year period. Wayne, Deb and their family will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm sending Wayne's family my sincere condolences. Wayne was an amazing man who gave so much to this world. He is truly missed by so many. With love and sincere sympathy, Bendina Miller - Posted by: Bendina Miller (Friend) on: Oct 23, 2015

I was saddened to hear of Wayne's passing and that he had spent the past few years battling Alzheimer's disease. Wayne and I were close friends during his days in Winnipeg and I visited him when he lived in Prince George. My ex-wife and I shared many good times with Wayne and his first family (Brydon and Chris) at our home as well as their home in Stony Mountain. Unfortunately we lost touch with one another over the years. He was a great guy who is fondly remembered by many of his old friends back in Winnipeg. - Posted by: Wayne Bester (Friend ) on: Oct 11, 2015

Condolences, I grew up 4 doors away, had him break my collar bone in back yard football at age 15 so he was destined to play pro football. - Posted by: Garry Bell (boy hood friend) on: Oct 11, 2015
