KATHERINE BERZISH It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Katherine Berzish (nee Capri) on October 2, 2015. Katherine was born in Winnipeg on December 22, 1925 and grew up in the north end. She and Henry lived on opposite sides of the CPR tracks before meeting and commencing their 54 years of marriage. She worked for many years in the printing business, and enjoyed diverse activities such as 10-pin bowling, card games, bingo, and loved to challenge her great-grandchildren to a game of cribbage. Katherine was an avid sports fan and followed hockey, football, golf, and tennis. In her later years, she became an avid reader. Katherine was admired for the tremendous endurance she had to overcome the many personal challenges she faced. Katherine enjoyed the company of her grandchildren Ken, Christine, Karen (Carmine), and great-grandchildren Emma, Gabriella, Paolo, and Mia, nieces, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Henry (Andrew), her siblings, daughter Maria and son-in-law Joseph. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Care Home for the compassion and friendship they shared with her. An interment service will be held at Holy Family Cemetery, 4355 N. Main St., West St. Paul on Tuesday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m. Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044
