SANDRA COCKLE After a short battle with cancer, Sandra Cockle of Snow Lake, Manitoba passed away, with family at her side, on October 4, 2015 at Riverview Hospital's Palliative Care Unit. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff, especially Tony for their compassion and care during her brief stay, even when they brought her store bought applesauce. To describe Sandra in a few words would be impossible and would probably cost more than she would like. She was the first person you would call when you had a question, or some good news to share and this was the reason you could never get her on the phone; she was always talking. After the briefest of conversations with her, you would feel like family. And being family meant she would always be collecting things she knew you would like. And you would. She had an amazing gift of making anyone she spoke with feel like they had been a part of her life forever. Sandra will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews, and an amazing network of friends, colleagues, co-workers and neighbours. A celebration of life will be held in the Snow Lake Community Hall on October 24 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to "A Port in the Storm".
