BERNIE PAUL SHORE Bernie Paul Shore, Chartered Accountant, on the morning of October 17, 2015 at the age of 69, after a lengthy illness, peacefully passed away. He leaves to mourn his wife of 11 years Ilsa, son Dustin (Michelle), stepson Vincent, granddaughter Jaden, niece Paula (Gary), Eli and Lily, and numerous friends and colleagues. Bernie married his first wife Gail in 1974 and two years later became a father to his son Dustin. He graduated with honors from The University of Manitoba as a Chartered Accountant. In 1979 he started his own accounting firm which was successful for over 30 years. In 2004 Bernie married his current wife Ilsa and became stepfather to Vincent. Bernie will be remembered in the community for his honesty, loyalty, kindness and generosity. Some of Bernie's favorite things were family gatherings, travelling, fishing, Lake of the Woods, The Beatles, Lawrence of Arabia, apple pie and ice cream. Bernie also had numerous dogs over the years which he loved very much. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to "celebrate Bernie's life" will take place 5:30 p.m. on November 3, 2015 in the Manitoba Room at The Clarion Hotel.
