CAROL SPILLER (nee STOFFMAN) Following a courageous six year battle with health problems, Carol Spiller sorrowfully passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015. A private service was held at Rosh Pina Memorial Park Cemetery on Sunday, October 25. Carol was a kind, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, sister, daughter, nana, aunt, and friend. She put others ahead of herself. She was always there to listen and encourage. She concealed her suffering and never complained. Carol was understated, modest and loyal. She was a ray of sunshine to the lucky people whose lives she touched. Like her beloved mother Rose before her, Carol possessed strong family values and a deep sense of Yiddishkeit. She loved baking for her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She relished sharing quality time with her friends. She appreciated the little things such as going for walks and doting on her pets. She will be greatly missed. Though she has passed, we will continue to move forward - through us, her legacy will live on. Just run across the field Face lifted to the sky Catch the falling snow flakes Like the good old times. Just smile up at the clouds And let the breeze caress your face Let winter come upon us Let us see its gathering grace. Just walk amongst the fallen It is a blanket on our home To remind us that the broken Are never truly alone.
