ROBERT JOHN FARRELL Bob was born in Winnipeg on August 15, 1950 and died in Cranbrook, BC on November 26, 2015 following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease. He was predeceased by his parents Lila and Gordon Farrell, and is survived by sister Nancy (Rob Rummery), and nephew Dan Rummery (Carley). Bob attended Grant Park High School and after receiving a Physiotherapy Diploma from the University of Manitoba, he travelled and worked in England and Australia before settling in Kimberley in the early 1980s. He pursued his career in physiotherapy at the hospital in Kimberley and enjoyed being part of the ski community there. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 5, 1:00 p.m. at the McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook.

  • I got to know Bob when we both worked at Stoke Mandeville Hospital...me in the Mortuary and Bob in the National Spinal Injuries Centre.   • I played for the Kimberley Nights and Bob was great mentor with hockey but more with life, he taught me about life and growing up and maturing.
