My grandpa was my absolute hero, which he still continues to be. He taught me everything from riding a bike to loving life and living it to the fullest. There is not a day I don’t find myself thinking about him, I even tell stories as if he is sitting right with me. I am thankful that I got to spend 14 amazing year with him, and I hope as he looks down on his family he is as proud as I am. - Posted by: Laura Wiebe (Granddaughter ) on: May 21, 2018

Larry was a very close friend during high school and for a few years after until I left Winnipeg. He had a wonderful and unique sense of humour, and that, along with his positive outlook, made for great times. My condolences to Helen and all those around her, and my best wishes during a difficult time. - Posted by: Len Kowalik (Friend) on: Jan 14, 2016

I can't believe what happened,, being a motorcycle enthusiast myself, and a former co-worker at Grey Goose, I'm deeply saddened by what happened to Larry. I was just a young fella, (23) working as a fellow driver with Larry at Grey Goose back in the day, I remember what a great guy Larry was. I often worked with him going to Flin Flon & back as his Overload when it got busy. We often had a few laughs together, sarcastically making fun of some of the things we would see, & encounter on the road. After Larry retired, I often thought of him, & how he was doing, since, I never saw him again. Now, years later, I'm close to retirement myself, (51) & look forward to enjoying life the way Larry did,,!! Rest in peace my friend.... - Posted by: Frank Farkas (Former co-worker (Greygoose)) on: Jan 13, 2016
