Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTRAVIS PAUL SAWATSKY April 14, 1993 - February 2, 2016 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Travis Paul Sawatsky at the age of 22 years in Vancouver, BC. A Celebration in honour of Travis' life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Sturgeon Heights Community Centre, 210 Rita Street, beginning at 5:30 p.m. where memories of him will be shared and his favourite foods served. His friends are invited to wear their Thursday animal print t-shirts. All are welcome to attend. A full obituary will follow.

Travis was a dear friend. I had the pleasure of growing up with him. We attended the same middle school and high school. He had a bright spirit and was so full of joy and laughter. Whenever we were playing football at recess, goofing around in band class, or just simply hanging out, Travis always had a great attitude. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. Such a sweet and kind soul, Travis. My son's friend and Sturgeon Creek grad partner. They looked so handsome in their suits, prancing in circles through the dinner reception grad walk. I'll never forget that day, so proud of them both. My deepest condolences and sympathies to the family and friends of Travis. So sad to lose another good one. For some reason, our higher power usually takes our best first, hopefully because they're needed to do exceptional things that can only be done by them.
