FLORENCE McCAFFREY On February 19, 2016, Florence McCaffrey passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 93 with her loving family by her side. Florence leaves to mourn her husband, Roy, of 70 years of marriage; her three children, Lawrie, Judy (Richard) and Val (Blago); four surviving grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all and remembered for how she cherished life with her family and friends, including the many residents and staff at Dakota House. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Victoria General Hospital in Emergency and on the 5th floor for their constant attention and attentive care, both to Florence and the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Chapel, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. where a "Celebration of Life", in loving memory of Florence,will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a charitable donation be made in memory of Florence, to the charity of your choice. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca

Auntie Florence was the most beautiful woman inside and out with the greatest infectious laugh! She and Uncle Roy gave hospitality plus to all who would come and spend time with them at Bird River. We met Florence and Roy in Weslaco, Texas in 1990 and became friends and have kept in touch over the years. Florence was a beautiful lady in all aspects. Our deepest sympathy to the family in your loss. She was a fantastic wife, mother and friend. You will be greatly missed dear friend.
