STEPHANIE KELLY ANNE MEEKIS December 18, 1994 - February 28, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Kelly Anne Meekis. age 21 years, who suddenly passed away on February 28, 2016, in Winnipeg, MB. She leaves behind two sons, Nathaneal, age 2 years and Noah age 1 year. Also to mourn her passing is mother Barbra Bone, four sisters, Crystal Meekis, Faye Bone, Sarah Bone and, Cynthia Meekis, one brother Christopher Meekis, Grandpa Russell Maytwayashing, Grandpa Chris Asham, Grandpa Victor Bone, Grandma Louise Hourie, many uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Stephanie was predeceased by her father Louie Meekis, two brothers Bradley Meekis and Nelson Meekis, grandfathers Edward Bone and Reuben Hourie. Stephanie was a very loving, kind hearted and outgoing person. A Wake service will be held on Thursday March 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Kateri Tekakwitha Aboriginal Parish at 548 Home St. Funeral service will be held on Friday March 4 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery at 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Lunch and refreshments to follow at Kateri Tekakwitha Aboriginal Parish. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to the Bone/Meekis family. Arrangements entrusted to Sanderson Funeral Home.
