Remaining to cherish Mom's memory are her sons, Bob (Judy) and Nick; grandchildren, Debbi-Jo (Kevin) and Marshall (Merav); great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Jack, Jesse and Ari; sisters, Pauline Soroka and Carrie Tokar and brother Stanley Kekish. She was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1985. On November 26, 1918, Mom was born on the family farm in the Red Deer District, Municipality of Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba. She married Steve Matias and settled in Hudson, Ontario until 1952, when the family moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where Mom resided until her demise. In compliance with Mom's wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Our sincere thanks to Mom's nieces Amy and Elsie for their visits and support, as well as the Thorvaldson Care Center staff and the Tuxedo Villa Personal Care Home staff, for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, if desired, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. Wojcik's Funeral Chapels & Crematorium, Winnipeg, 2157 Portage Avenue, 204.897.4665 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com.
