Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR (BUD) CHAPMAN October 24, 1929 - March 3, 2016 Like his 1956 Gibson guitar, he had a warmth about him! Bud is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Helen, son Greg, daughter-in-law Carla, sister Shirl Hardy, sister Marge Dyson (Keith), brother Larry Chapman (Sheila), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly. Bud was an eloquent man and a gentle soul both in his family life and through various careers. He was a proud and successful business owner before retiring and moving on to other ventures. In younger years, Bud played hockey, drove a stock car at Brooklyn Speedway and was an avid golfer, curler and fastball player. A true man's man', Bud never encountered a problem too big to solve. He was deeply generous with both his time and resources. Heartfelt thanks to the amazing teams at Concordia Hospital ER and 4 South at Grace Hospital. As per Bud's wishes there will not be a formal service. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the charity of your choice.
