Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTIM FLEURY June 28, 1955 - March 4, 2016 With his family by his side, Tim Fleury passed away from cancer on March 4, 2016 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital. He will be forever cherished by his wife Pat, children, Timea (Bill Coulson), Darla (Sebastien Guilbeault), Michael, and Tim, and grandchildren, Avary and Ella Guilbeault, and Cian Coulson; and brothers, Michael (Susan), Marty (Christine), and Ken (Doreen). Predeceased by sisters Sue Robert and Cheri Marchand. Also lovingly remembered by brother-in-law Kelly Gibson (Molly Stouffer); sister-in-law Jan Gibson (Rob Bennett); as well as his many nieces and nephews. Tim was born and raised in the Windsor, Ontario region, but relocated to Minaki, Ontario for the majority of his adult life. Tim had a varied career and work life, which included the Canadian Armed Forces, millwrighting throughout Northwestern Ontario and Alberta, owner/operator of Sunny Tim's Pizza, and also an entrepreneur as a contractor in Minaki. Tim was well respected and known for his high quality craftsmanship. Every lake project was a challenge to Tim that he took on with much thought and care, making sure everything was just done just right, down to the last millimeter. Tim's greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, whether it be fishing, hunting with his boys, snowmobiling, playing music, or doing home projects. The arrival of Tim's grandchildren in recent years added a special place in his heart. We will always remember his kind and gentle demeanor, his singing, and his positive attitude toward people and life. Tim's family would like to thank Dr. Brad Kyle, medical student Jazmyn Balfour-Boehm, and the wonderful nursing staff at LWDH for their compassionate care. A Celebration of Tim's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday March 12, 2016 at Laclu Industries on Hwy 641. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
