ESTHER JANET REECE. Peacefully on January 24, 2016 at Kildonan Personal Care Home at the age of 84 years. Born in Trinidad, Janet is survived by sisters, Rita (Caines) and Jemima; cousin Pat Hovell; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by parents Leslie Albert and Marie Reece; brothers, Harry (Red River College) and David. Trained in London, (U.K) she was extremely devoted to her career in Nursing. Janet was kind hearted, thoughtful, an avid gardener, Toastmasters member and cheerful volunteer. Respecting her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday March 15 at St. Saviour's Anglican Church (Munroe and Grey Streets) with Rev. Edmund Laldin officiating. Service will conclude at the hall. A sincere thank you to the staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Home and to the companion care team for all their special care during the last months of Janet`s life.
