Funeral service will be held graveside at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. area 2, section J. Meal of Condolence to follow service at Shaftesbury Retirement Centre, 905 Shaftesbury Blvd.

I occasionally met Bunny in his store. He was just one of hundreds of people who you casually meet from time to time but most are forgotten. Bunny was someone who touched everyone who crossed his path. Bunny loved life and made everyone around him feel uplifted. If there was anyone I would want to be in life it was Bunny, for the way he made everyone around him feel welcome and special. When our parents [Takeo and Haruko Ooto passed] Bunny Ringer] sent kind regards. I remember saving my pennies and shopping in the basement of Ringers - we'd always find something for our parents - thank you to the Ringer Family for such a delightful place where one could learn how to shop and interact with others in Fort Garry. In the 60's , My dad George Stewart had his architectural practice on the second floor of Mr . Ringers wonderful store on pembina highway . The store was a fixture for people in fort Garry, drug store and hardware store . Mr . Ringer was always kind , happy and friendly .
