Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMALCOLM GEORGE MCKAY On March 11, 2016 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Malcolm George McKay, beloved husband of Ruth Elizabeth McKay (nee Norlen), passed away at the age of 84 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Derik, Marcia, Robert, Malcolm, Richard, Duncan, and Douglas; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the following; the exceptional staff of 5th floor Unit 2, and the Oncology department of Seven Oaks Hospital and CancerCare Manitoba. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I loved both Dad and Mom very much. I am updating this as Dad’s wife (Mom) passed away four years later in December of 2020. She was just a few months shy of her 90th birthday. She missed Dad a lot but she was always near family. Much like Dad, Mom’s hospital stay was only three days before she moved on. In the last year I’ve been scanning photos of our family and will soon post the entire collection on Google photos as a living record to our family history. I honour what our parents have given us.
