So Sorry to hear about Mr. Spindler's passing. Condolences to the family. I had the good fortune of working with him at the RBC when he was manager of Munroe and London. In all our wine tasting events I always chose the cheapest wines. - Posted by: Barbara Rathgaber (RBC Staff) on: Apr 02, 2016

"Wer immer strebend sich bemueht" is the pivotal line of Goethe's Faust and thus of life itself. Life is a daily contestation to the seeking human endeavour,a line which incorporates the essence of Gerry's search, life and essence. There is no doubt that the Stammtisch was a push and pull for Gerry in the right direction. Well done, Bruder! Jack - Posted by: Jack Thiessen (Stammtischbruder) on: Mar 23, 2016

Linda and I wish to express our most sincere condolences to Debbie and the entire family. I have had the good fortune to have known Gerry for many years. We first met at the German Business and Professional Association while I was with Winnipeg Business Development Corporation. His warm and inviting personality made it easy for me to join the German Business Club and the Quadra Club where we also became good friends socially as well. I will miss his friendship, warm smile and extended hand every time we met at Stammtisch lunches, fundraisers, social dinners and gatherings at Judge John Enns cottage in the Whiteshell. Farewell my friend and God Bless You. - Posted by: Karl Fabian (Colleague and Friend ) on: Mar 19, 2016
