Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY PHILIP CORDA It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden passing of Stanley Philip Corda on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 76 years. Remaining to cherish Stanley's memory are his daughter, Carolyn Corda; son Robin Corda (Catherine); grandchildren, Ryan and Christopher; sisters, Gloria Wood and Rose Beaubier (Peter); brother Arnold Corda; nieces, Kathryn Makl (Jeff), Karen Beaubier and Laura Wilkie (Mark) and nephew, Donald Wood (Mona). He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Louis Corda and mother, Katherine (nee Kazina). Stan's greatest pleasure in life was to be surrounded by his many friends. His other passions included: time outside on his deck while watching the sporting event of the day on his TV, "assisting" with the garden and planning the next big feast. Fishing the banks of the Red River behind their family home on Jubilee at a young age, to the shore at Lockport, or at Falcon Lake where there was a family cabin for many years. As always the "big one" never got away. Stan was an accomplished bowler in his day. Working on challenging crossword puzzles to pass the time between friends dropping by. He had a true gift for the "gab", this was Stan's trademark and how he became an accomplished salesman, selling everything from Tuck Tape to pools and everything in between. He was a salesman at heart. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all of Stan's friends who surrounded him with caring and compassion. Stan lived life on his own terms and his friends made his final years very rewarding and enjoyable. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, a donation to your charity of choice is greatly appreciated. Carol and Robin, I am so sorry about the sudden passing of your dad. I'm sure you are both thankful that you were able to spend some time with him very recently.
