Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Just saw this updated obituary...so sad to have missed the celebration of her life. "Auntie" Dorothy was a cherished person in my life as my God Mother who took the role seriously. She was always nearby and wasn't shy to encourage me in the faith. She was a long time friend of my mother's and will be missed by our family as she was often a part of our family's celebrations as well as prayer support in difficult times. I know she will continue to guide me from above. I was looking forward to visiting her on her upcoming 90th birthday on the 27th. I feel blessed to have called her my God Mother. I know she is in heaven loving and laughing and boldly singing about building community! With love, Lisa Baird Wilcox - Posted by: Lisa Wilcox (God daughter) on: Apr 11, 2016

  • Dorothy was a lovely lady whose smile brightened our day. She loved music and was easy to visit. Thanks for letting me visit her. It was an honour. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, the family, may you find comfort in good memories of your mother and grand mother. - Posted by: Ernie Dyck (Music man) on: Apr 10, 2016
