SHELDENE JOY SLATER (nee DONALD) It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shelly Slater on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the age of 53 years. Remaining to lovingly remember Shelly are her husband, Neil Slater, of 33 years; sons, Donald (Pamela) and Sheldon; grandsons, Dallas and Bronsen; father-in-law Kenneth Slater; sisters-in-law, Susan (Larry) James, Jodi (Al) Sutyla and Noella (Terry) Lindstrom; nieces, Christine and Sandra; nephews, Alex and Travis; great-niece Kathryn and many special cousins and extended family. She was predeceased by her mother, Hilda Donald and mother-in-law Emily Slater. Shelly will always be remembered for her love of animals and especially her dogs and cats. Living in the Teulon community, Shelly made many close friends and always enjoyed helping out others. She cherished the time spent with her friends and family and loved every moment she had with her two grandsons. On Monday, April 11, 2016, Shelly's Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Teulon-Rockwood Centennial Centre, 14 Main Street, Teulon, MB.
