Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Aime was a great man! We had our differences in the latter years but overall we had a wonderful life! We produced 2 amazing children Nicole and Jean-Paul. Aime was loyal, he respected his parents and parents in-laws. Aime was a wonderful father to two our two great children Nicole and JP. Aime was an awesome son in law to John and Emma who loved him like a son. He loved his brothers Roger, Joe and especially his twin Denis. I have fantastic memories of Aime. He helped my parents whatever the task was Aime would say "we can do it"!. Aime was always willing to help anyone. A very gifted drum player... I remember him, Denis, Kevin and Skinner rocking the song "Gloria" at Denis and Louise's wedding. Wow! oh what a night! Aime really struggled with the loss of his father and 3 months later the loss of his only sister Denice and his first nephew in a horrendous car accident! Aime loved his brothers Rogers, Joe and especially his twin Denis. He also loved so much his brother in laws Roger& Paul. Oh, and I remember The moonlight nights at White Lake with my mom Emma and my brother in law Paul with Aime checking out the stars on a rock formation, howling at the moon, counting stars and then eventually watching the most glorious sunrise. These are unforgettable moments in our lives. When I met Aime he has a very popular guy along with his twin Denis. When I was 17 I could not distinguish between the two of them) lol . My Mom couldn't (and to this day) not parallel park so she frantically runs out of the credit union on Provencher yells out to Aime (who indeed was Denis.... to parallel park her car... OK...no worries Denis says, but, after the good deed was done he says to my mom " Im not Aime, I am Denis, but I did it for you anyway!!! I have been gone from the scene for about 30 years now but I still want to say to Aime "it was a ride" and to bless all of his family and friends who stayed and supported him throughout all of the trials and tribulations he had to deal with. "Aime you were a very generous, loving and giving person and you should know, that I will always love you. Your were my first love and will always be despite our differences/ Yvette - Posted by: Aime was a good husband, father, although we had differences, he will, and always be e in my heart (ex wife) on: May 15, 2016

  • I always loved visiting at uncle Albert's, with Aime, Denis, Joe and Roger. Was in awe of Aime playing drums in a band. We lost touch for a while but met again working at DSFM. Aime ran a "tight ship" at DSFM.His work was top notch. I enjoyed working with him and miss his smile and his laugh. Rest in peace Aime. - Posted by: Marcel Dansereau (cousin) on: Apr 17, 2016

  • My sincere condolences to Roger, Joseph & Denis. I was their sister Denise's friend and Aime & Denis, as young boys, always tried to trick me as they were twins and resembled each other but I would always get the right name to the right one. I have great memories of going to their parents' house. - Posted by: Dorothee (Savard) Touzin (Family friend) on: Apr 17, 2016

  • I last saw Aime at my husband, Maurice's memorial service in December 2013. He and Maurice were co-workers at Benson & Hedges and we shared many good times together at work related events. He was a great dancer, good jive partner and always had a smile ready. As a family we often met with your family for Sunday morning brunches and he always was proud of his children's accomplishments. - Posted by: Lucille Rybuck (old friend) on: Apr 16, 2016
