Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS MICHAEL BOYCHUK It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather, Dennis Boychuk, on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the age of 68. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Joan (nee Balla); children, Christine (Juergen) and Darren (Robyn); grandchildren, Matthew and Cody Glass. Dennis is also survived by his mother Olga Boychuk; sisters, Diane (Ralph), Patricia (Wes) and Lucy; brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. In 1971, Dennis married the love of his life, Joan and they started a family. He was a wonderful and loving husband who cherished his wife and children. Dennis was employed for 35 years in the trucking industry with Canada Cartage. Through his job, Dennis made an appearance on Sesame Street, which memories all the children in the family will always remember. Upon retiring, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his wife and children and his special buddy Yukon. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 505 Watt St. at 10:30 a.m. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital who made Dennis' last days comfortable.

With sadness, we saw Den disappear from view, but NEVER in our hearts. I remember walking Dennis to school at Lord Selkirk, when he was little and I graduating that year. His mom, my sister Ol, did the same for me. We will all MISS him. A nice man, helpful, a gentleman. His grandparents loved him. He'll see them now. His good deeds will be remembered by many. Hugs to Joan, his loving wife & all who remember him. Halia (& Paul) Pushkar, Coos Bay, Oregon. - Posted by: Halia Pushkar (and husband, Paul) (aunt) on: Apr 23, 2016
