CECELIA CLARA JANIS 1927 - 2016 We regretfully announce the passing of Cecelia on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Grace Hospital, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Daphne and Heather; granddaughter Lara (Jean-Philippe); and great-granddaughter Elianna. She was predeceased by her husband Louis. Cecelia and Louis were married for 59 years and farmed for over 40 years at Starbuck, Manitoba. Cecelia and Louis enjoyed playing golf, camping, and holidaying in the south during the winter months. Renowned for her beautiful flower gardens, Cecelia was a passionate flower gardener. Cecelia self published her memoirs "Grandma Write it Down" and "Tied with a Red Ribbon" to keep alive memories of her life. A service will be held summer 2017, with details to follow.
