BARBARA DIANE LAMBERT (nee TRIMBLE) June 7, 1950 - July 13, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Barbara passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on July 13. She will be dearly missed by her husband Wayne, her two sons Brian and Bradley and her granddaughter Taylor. She was predeceased by her mother Lillian, father Jack and brother Norman. She is survived by one sister Cathy. Barb's favourite pastimes were going to the cottage with our son's dog Riley in the summer and going to Barbados in the winter and the odd time sneaking off to the Shooting Star Casino for the weekend with her son Brad. Her other pastime was going to classic cars events where we met a lot of people and became good friends. A graveside service for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Cemetery. I want to thank the nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital ICU E2 ward for being so caring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CancerCare Centre. I remember last summer Barb and Wayne ordered shingles for their cottage from roofmart and specifically asked that I delivered. I remember how excited they were to see us coming out to do the job and sat down afterwards and had a drink and talked about the little things in life that truly made a difference in Wayne and Barb's life, I remember how happy Barb was at this moment, she had her family around her and she was so happy you could feel it. I remember seeing Barb and Wayne for many car shows and breakfasts at Pancake House where she loved to eat.
