Magdalene was an active member of her community, volunteering countless hours at St. Patrick's Church along with various other causes. When Magdalene wasn't graciously volunteering her time, she could often be found playing card games with friends and dining out with them. She enjoyed attending events at the Army and Navy Club as well as participating in her walking club at the mall. Magdalene was dedicated to her family and a visit to "Grandma's" would always include several servings of her world famous perogies along with homemade buns and cabbage rolls. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at James Bay Care Home and the many doctors, nurses and members of the community who supported Magdalene during these past few years.
