BELLA ANDREA LATCHMAN Bella Andréa Latchman, a long-time resident of Winnipeg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Grace Hospital. Left to cherish Bella's memory are her daughter Sheila and her husband Sylvio; son Henry and his wife Sonia; grandchildren Neil, Jamie and Marisol, Lana and Brock, and Adrien; and her four great-grandchildren, Santiago, Alessandra, Amelia, and Gabrielle, all of whom brought great joy to her later years. She is further survived by her sister Louisa (aka Maya); nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel. Born in 1928 in Mauritius, Bella moved to Canada in 1970, where she worked as a nurse's aide until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, doing needlework, reading her bible, and spending time with friends and family. Bella's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 4 at 10:30 a.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Blvd. The Interment will be held on Friday, August 5 at 9:30 a.m. in St. James Cemetery, 525 Tylehurst St. (across from Polo Park).
