RONALD (KEITH) NEUFELD It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald "Keith" Neufeld on September 10, 2016 of Cardiac arrest. Keith was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Edmund, and older brother Stephen. Keith left to cherish his memory, his sister Barbara Elias-Wesa (Hank), brothers, Donald (Eileen) Neufeld, and Thomas (Elaine) Neufeld, niece and nephews, Rhonda and Mathew Elias-Penner (Collin and Alec Cenerini), Hank and Karen (Carter) Wesa, Darren and Jesse, (Justin, and Preston) Wesa, and numerous other nieces, nephews, long-time friends, and colleagues in Canada and abroad, whose lives he has left a significant imprint on. Keith always referred to himself as a hermit, yet he spent his life sharing his time, energy, and craftsmanship with so many. He would never hesitate to lend a hand (or a foot) to someone in need, or someone who just needed a friend. His home became the neighbourhood gathering place for all us misfits' he would say, but really, they were a family, hugely in part to Keith's influence. Keith lived life on his terms, and when asked about the future, he would say, "I will deal with it when it comes, and when I am done, I'm done, ...that's life!" Keith was a self-taught jack of all trades, but spent his recent years as a finishing carpenter with K. Sleva contracting and most recently Neufeld Construction, at the time of his passing. Those he worked with were in awe of his attention to detail and hard work ethic. He could truly do anything with a drill, silicone, and a pack of rolling papers! Keith was fearless, he lived in the moment, and appreciated the simple things in life, but in the end, he was about family...he was kind, protective, loyal and loving in a way that those closest to him, will never replace. Thanks for being you Keith, I guess, you did what you came to do and ultimately, that's life... A celebration of Keith's life will be held Monday, September 19, 2016 at Eternal Grace Funeral Chapel, 1111 Logan Avenue at 2:30 p.m. Eternal Grace Funerals in Care of Arrangements, 204-505-4559
