Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICK HARRY MCNEIL July 11, 1931- October 14, 2016 Peacefully, Pat passed away October 14, 2016, at the age of 85. Even though he is not here in body, nothing can take our memories of his kind and gentle soul. Pat lived a full, happy life and his sense of humour will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Margaret (Maggie). He also leaves to mourn, his daughter, Janet Smith (Russ); son, Frank McNeil (Rhonda); adopted daughter (in Kindness) Sheila Liang and family; grandchildren, Justin Smith (Twighla), Meghan (Jordan), Johannes (deceased), Marie, Kayla and Keanna; and his great-grandchild Natalie. Also his sister Kathleen Fukumura (Tony deceased); niece, Christine Wall and nephew Blair Fukumura, and many other family and friends. Pat worked for the City of Winnipeg, Parks and Rec Department, then worked with Winnipeg Hydro through to his retirement in 1991. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to D'Arcy's ARC, 730-B Century Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3H 0M1 or a charity of your choice. The family would like to express thanks to the Concordia Hospital for their extremely compassionate care. Especially ICU and 3 East Ward. Prayers and reception to honour Pat's memory will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery & Crematorium, 1800 Day Street.
