• I was so shocked to hear of Colleen's passing. We were very good friends, yet grew apart due to life changes and distance of living locations. When we were younger, she was there for me, when I needed her the most. We became very close due to similar situations in our lives. Turned out we had a lot in common. We liked a lot of the same things: gatherings with friends, parties, clothing styles, meeting new people, family, etc. We both liked taking goofy pictures of each other and our friends. We always had a lot to talk about, that would last all night long, lots to gossip about, as well. We were so close we were like sisters, even though we both had female siblings. I am sorry I had not seen her the last few months of her life. Her sister just informed me yesterday of Colleen's passing, so I was not present for her funeral service. I am grateful to run into Colleen's sister, but very crushed that I will never see Colleen again. I know she is in heaven with her mother, father, my mom, and other members of each other's families. To Colleen's husband, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, etc., take solace in that she is at peace and not suffering no longer. Love to you all. Colleen: Next time I have a beer, I will be reminiscing about you and me together having a great talk and lots of laughs. R.I.P. friend.
