Date of Passing: Oct 28, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (LIZ) MAY REUTLINGER December 18, 1955 - October 28, 2016 With heavy hearts we sadly announce the sudden passing of Elizabeth Reutlinger, at the age of 60 years. She is survived by her two loving children, Stephanie (Jesse) and Anthony (Amanda); grandson Jesse Jr.; as well as her siblings, Diane, Wayne (Val), Pat, Donna, Dave, Jamie (Leslie) and Chris (Linda). Liz was an amazing mother and an even more amazing grandmother. Anyone who knew her, knew that she lived her life solely for her family. She was always a supporter and the number #1 fan at any and all of her children's or nieces and nephews sporting events. Liz was also a Bomber season ticket holder, who never missed a game; rain or shine, if they were playing, you knew you could always count on her being there. Liz was creative and very crafty, she was always thinking up a new project of what she wanted to work on or make next. When she received the news in December 2014 that she was going to be a grandma, the ideas flew faster then ever. Her favourite time of the year was Christmas, where she would get to be together with her whole family. She loved to be around her brothers and sister, and share in stories of what the last year had held for everyone and the excitement of the plans of the year to come. Liz will sadly be missed by her children, grandson, siblings, nieces/nephews, many family, friends and co-workers. Liz was predeceased by her loving father and mother, Peter and Mary Reutlinger. Prayers will be held Thursday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. with funeral service and reception to follow Friday, November 4 at 12:00 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street. Burial will take place at Brookside Cemetery following the reception, where Liz will be laid to rest with her parents. Your life was a blessing your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
