Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAIRE ANNE McKAY (née BILESKI) Peacefully on November 7, 2016 Claire passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home. She was born in Winnipeg on January 30, 1946. Claire will be remembered by her special circle of friends, Monica Brechka, Gloria Ivory, Pat Goodman, Jeannette Foot, Claire Heron (Eston, SK), Fae Lyngstad (Thunder Bay, ON); her cousin Louise Green (Victoria, BC), and her sister-in-law Joan McKay (Thunder Bay, ON). She is survived by her half-brother James Bileski. Claire was predeceased by her husband Kenneth; parents, Walter and Eva (née Anderson) Bileski, and brother Donald. Claire was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and a long-time member of the Catholic Women's League of Canada. She had a special interest in developing and presenting workshops on Spiritual Development and Personal Growth. She particularly enjoyed her position as St. Boniface Archdiocesan editor-writer for the "Prairie Messenger", a weekly news publication. A private service led by Fr. Isaie Blanchette, O.M.I. will be followed by interment in the Memorial Garden at Elmwood Cemetery on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Mass offerings would be gratefully accepted.
