WALTER LAING Walter Laing, 84, of Fort Frances, Ontario passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Rainycrest Long Term Care. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances, Ontario. A complete obituary will follow. First, our sincere condolences to you Irene and your extended family. So, so much to say about Walter, as we all used to say "we could write a book". Many a time was spent around a table with Walter, rattling off one song after the other, what an entertainer and then in between listening to the " stories " of his youth. One events sticks out: Early hours of the morning singing in an airport and then strolling up and down the aisle on the aircraft getting the plane to sing instead of going to sleep. Everyone who came into contact with Walter will have many memories to carry with them.
