Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBETTY EILEEN VISCA Our dear wife and mother passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2016. She left behind her loving husband Lorne of 58 years of marriage; three sons, Barry (Barb), Warren and Greg (Nora); two daughters, Laurie (Eric) and Jackie (Gord); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is now home with her mom, dad, brother and sisters in heaven. Betty was a stay at home mom, raising five children. She enjoyed every minute of being the best Mom anyone could ask for. In her retirement, Betty and Lorne travelled across Canada visiting their children. In her late 70s, Betty started to develop dementia. She was a fighter and bought the disease bravely for four years with Lorne at her side every day of her courageous battle. A Celebration of Betty's Life was held on Monday December 5, 2016. We would like to thank the staff of 3 West at the Deer Lodge Centre and the staff of 2 East at Maples Personal Care Home. I grew up with the Visca family, I always loved to go to their home and play with all the kids, it was always a friendly, fun environment....I am sure.
