Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNICE RITA STARR (nee MCKENZIE) On the morning of Christmas Eve, December 24, 2016, Bernice passed over at the Health Sciences Centre after her long battle with cancer. She joins her parents Joyce and Henry McKenzie, younger brother Stanley McKenzie, grandson Nathan Starr and her common-law partner Wilfred Ricketts. She will be sadly missed by her children Kimberly Daniels, son-in-law Perry Daniels, Kristopher Starr, daughter-in-law Debbie Flett, Noah Starr, her former husband Laurence Starr, three sisters Lynda Clarke, Marilyn McKenzie and Judy Pashe, six brothers Ivan, Morris, Richard, Roger and Emile McKenzie and their spouses, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many in-laws and friends. Join us at Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Road South, Portage La Prairie, MB for prayers at 7:30 pm., December 29, 2016. Memorial service will be December 30, 10:00 a.m. After the service there will be food and refreshments. One of her favourite scriptures: Safely Home I am in Heaven dear ones, oh so happy and so bright. There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, ever restless tossing passed; I am at Peace Forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Forever In Our Hearts
