Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • As friends from the past, we send our condolences to Eleanor and family on the loss of Rick. During the years in the '60's when we all lived in an appartment block in Windsor Park, we shared simple times, fun and laughs as we raised our young families. May your memories help you through this difficult time. Ron & Claudia Gratton (Calgary) - Posted by: Claudia & Ron Gratton () on: Jan 09, 2017

  • Rick was a true friend and we had many great times together on Kingston Crescent and at West Hawk Lake. I am saddened that I did not see him before his passing. His daughter had informed he had been in the hospital a couple of times and did not indicate concern. I learned a sad lesson from Rick's passing. If you think you should see someone don't put it off. Do it. Rest in peace my friend. Ellie, Pattie and Kim I am sorry for not seeing him but he will always remain a big part of my good time memories. - Posted by: Duncan Jessiman () on: Jan 07, 2017

  • So sad to hear of Rick's passing. We chatted a few times about how happy he was to have the life he had - his wonderful wife and children, his time at the lake, memories of travel - Rick was a truly humble and thankful man and I will remember him as such. He was a pleasure to care for and I extend my sympathies to his family and friends. We need more people like him in the world. - sincerely, one of Rick's nurses - Posted by: Nurse (Friend) on: Jan 07, 2017
