PAMELA KIM TOLLENAAR (nee BRADFORD) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pam Tollenaar on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the age of 47 years. Left to cherish Pam's memory are her husband Barend; daughter Myriah; son Elliot; her mother Loretta (Steve); sisters, Lorena (children Jasmine and Jared), Allison (Dale, children Skyler and Alexis) and family and friends. Now Pam has joined her beloved Dad, Bill Bradford, in heaven. Pam was born in Rorketon, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg as a young adult to become a hairdresser. She married the love of her life Barend in 1992 and together they raised their family. Her greatest joys were her two children, Myriah and Elliot, she was their rock. The cabin was Pam's favourite place where she enjoyed family time with camp fires, fishing, water skiing and sailing. Throughout her life, Pam was an exceptional Curler from the early days at her home town rink right up to this year's season at the Pembina Curling Club. Pam had many friends and loved them all and they loved her back. She shared a special bond with her two sisters, Lorena and Allison that will never be broken. Pam was proud of her career and the relationships she had built with her students working as an educational assistant. She had just recently started in a new position at Glenlawn Collegiate. She loved working there. Pam was a good mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a great listener to all who sought her out for support and comfort. She had a smile for everybody. Pam's kindness will be missed by her family and all who were fortunate to have known her. Mom, you are truly the most beautiful person inside and out. Every day, you brought us joy and happiness. You will forever be in our hearts. Pam's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Temple (Buntain Chapel), 440 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB. Interment will follow in St. Vital Cemetery, 236 River Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
