DOROTHY PRIOR Dorothy May Prior (nee Morrow) passed away peacefully on January 29, 2017 at Oakview Extendicare Place. Dot was born on August 16, 1924 in Holland, Manitoba. She worked in the phone office in Holland and married Harold Prior in 1949. Shortly after, they moved to Winnipeg where she stayed at home to raise their three children. In 1961, they were transferred to Montreal with Air Canada where they became very involved with the community and made many lifelong friends. Dot joined a ringette team and also played badminton with a group of friends. She spent countless hours in her gardens and in her kitchen preparing wonderful treats and meals. She loved to knit, read and most important of all, watch hockey. In earlier days, she and Harold took the kids on many adventures, especially to England to visit her close relatives. The two of them would travel far and wide to keep in touch with family and friends. Upon Harold's retirement in 1978, the couple returned to Winnipeg to be close to family, children and grandchildren. Dot is lovingly remembered by her brother, Art (Helen), her children Fred, Gail and Gary (Adriana), four grandchildren, Jill, Adam, April and Tahnee, and five great-granddaughters.
