EVELYN HEUSER 1926 2017 On February 1, 2017, following a lengthy illness, Evelyn went to live in her forever home with her God and Father. Cherishing her life are her husband of 57 years, Alexander; daughter Christy Bedard; grandchildren, Veronique (Dan), Daniel and Ginette, along with Evelyn's six sisters. She is predeceased by her youngest daughter, Julie Ann; son-in-law Louis Bedard, and her five brothers. Evelyn's interests included her career as a registered psychiatric nurse; spending time with family and friends; participation in the church community, including daily bible study; volunteer activity in the community; current affairs; and solving crossword puzzles. Evelyn's family wish to express thanks to the loving staff at Oakview Place Extendicare, 2 East and 1 North, as well as a special friend Caroline, from dietary. A Celebration of Evelyn's Life will be held at Crestview United Church, 316 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Beth Rutherford officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to the Alzheimer Society Manitoba. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.
