LYN EILEEN LOVATT (nee CLARICE WADLIN) On Sunday, March 12, 2017, Lyn passed away peacefully in Winnipeg, at the age of 92 years. Lyn was the beloved wife of the late Denis Lovatt and a loving mother to Karen Domoney (Bob), Bob Lovatt (Val) and Brian Lovatt (deceased). Mum was a caring grandmother to Chris and Andrew (Miriam) Lovatt and Laura (Kurt) and Jessica Domoney as well as great-grandmother to Mara Lovatt. She was predeceased by her only brother, Gurney Wadlin (Audrey). During Dad's career in the R.C.A.F., Mum spent many years packing and unpacking as Dad was based in Montreal, Bagotville, Ottawa, Trenton, Camp Borden, Gimli and finally, after retirement, Winnipeg. Mum will be remembered for her ginger cookies, her fantastic recall of dates and her clean, tidy house. Her spare room was always ready for company. Mum was an avid bridge player and said that if you play bridge, you will always have friends. Lyn took great pride in her 40 years as a volunteer at Grace Hospital and her 35 years in charge of the roll at Sturgeon Creek United Church. She also volunteered at the RMTC and the Warehouse Theatre and she was a member of the Eastern Star. In compliance with Lyn's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Mum's ashes will be scattered at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto, alongside Dad and Brian.
