JAMES STELLING Peacefully, after a long illness, James Albert Stelling passed away at age 85 on April 15, 2017, at Aberdeen Hospital in Victoria, B.C. Jim was predeceased by his parents, John and Ann Stelling, his son Adrian, and his beloved wife Cecile (nee Gobert). He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Cazzie) Martin, grandson Anthony James Martin, his brothers Ken (Millie) and Don (Sandy). He is also survived by nieces Kristen (Neil) Fogg, Liz (Blair) Mitzok and Greta (Vince) Loewen and nephew Gordon Van Paten and their families. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Jim had a strong faith in God's promise of a resurrection to a paradise earth (Rev. 21:3, 4). He always put his love for God first in his life. He and Cecile served as full time ministers in many parts of Canada and as missionaries in South Africa. A memorial service will be held today, April 22 at the Shelbourne Kingdom Hall in Victoria, B.C.
