Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD THOMAS PASSEY October 26, 1935 - May 8, 2017 It is with deep sadness we announce Gerry's peaceful passing at Oakview Place with his family by his side. Gerry leaves to mourn his wife Pearl; daughters, Linda, Shannon, Shaylene (Robin), Shauna (Chris); sons, Robert and Glenn (Jackie); brothers, Wayne (Anne), Jim (Kaye), Russ (Bev); brothers-in-law, Ray (Judy), Brian (Cathy), aunt Shirley Wazney and many grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by close brother-in-law Sam McConnell and wife Paulette. Gerry was the eldest son to parents, Russell and Ivy. He grew up in Winnipeg, attended Gordon Bell and had a long and successful career in sales and management with Birchwood Motors, Willson Stationers, Xerox Canada and Royal Lepage, among others. Gerry was a long-standing member at Pine Ridge Golf Club and was business manager for McConnell Irish Dance Studio. As per Gerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. Many thanks for the comfort and care shown by the staff at Oakview Place and the kindness of friends that called with condolences.
