LOIS LAVINA ANDREE (nee BRADLEY) August 29, 1930 - May 12, 2017 With her loving family by her side, our beautiful and gracious wife/mother/Amma is now with her Lord in Heaven. Lois was born in the town of Lundar, Manitoba. She lived on a farm with her mom, dad, and two older sisters; she later moved to Winnipeg where her two younger brothers were born. She worked at CP Rail as a Railway Office Clerk until she married Len, her boyfriend of seven years. As per the stipulation at the time, she had to leave her employment when she became Mrs. Andree. She then embarked on her lifetime career and became an incredible wife and mother of four. Lois was also a wonderful sister, aunt and friend, and a terrific cook and baker. She loved to read, sing and drink tea (but not necessarily at the same time!). She loved the time spent at our Sandy Hook cottage "Summertime" where she enjoyed boating, playing cards and bocce ball, and being with family and friends. For 41 years she was a representative for Beauty Counsellor makeup and was involved as a member of Windsor Park United Church for almost 50 years. Lois was an amazing person who was an absolute pleasure to know. Left to remember with love and miss deeply is her beloved husband of almost 63 years Len, her children, Brian (Susan) and Lisa (Daniel), her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jimmy), Kyle, Veronica and Troy, her brother Maurice (Cheryl), and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Lois was predeceased by her daughters, Vivian and Lorraine, and siblings, Irene, Ruth, David and nephew Tim. A sincere thank you to the staff and volunteers at Poseidon Care Centre for their care, compassion and support over the past four years, especially 2nd floor. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Victoria Hospital on 5 South, and the spiritual health team for your kindness and attentiveness. A celebration of Lois' life will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home , 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, Tuesday, May 23, at 2:00 p.m. Reception will follow. In polite lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, or a charity of your choice. "Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye, in every gesture, dignity and love." John Milton Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
