SHIU MI MAN Shiu Mi Man, 93, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2017 in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Kun Wong Man, and her brother Hon Wah Wong. A devoted mother and grandmother, Shiu Mi and our dad immigrated from Hong Kong to Canada in 1974 for better education and opportunities for their children. Her greatest joy in life was to take care of, spend time with, and cook for her children and grandchildren. Her unconditional love will always be remembered dearly by them all. Her many lifelong friends are a testimony to her outgoing personality, kindness, and generosity. A private family service is to be held. Shiu Mi is survived by her children Daniel, Eric (Pam), Rosemary (Andrew) and Phoebe, her grandchildren Andre, Danielle, Julia, Cameron, Scott, Mangie, Boeseya and Siyee, her niece Windy Wong and her family. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to her physician Dr. TK Luk, all the caregivers, and especially to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dong, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Devins for their friendship and strong support for the Man family since the 1970s.
