Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE ARTHUR DAVIS April 1, 1937 - May 13, 2017 George Davis passed away peacefully on May 13, 2017, in his sleep, at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his wife Carolyn, who passed away May 13, 2005. George is survived by his two sons, Corey Davis and Chris (Lisa) Davis; his daughter Chelsie Davis (Brad); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Jessy, Alexus and Jonny. George was one of seven children born to Herbert and Laura Davis. He was employed at the Workers Compensation Board in various capacities, more latterly as Secretary of the Board from 1959 until 1989. He was then appointed as Chief Appeal Commissioner at the Workers Compensation Appeal Commission from 1989 until his retirement in 1998. Funeral service, with interment to follow, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. I remember you uncle George as a kind and gentle man. I fondly remember the time you spent with me as a child on Melborne Av and I remember the budgie birds your raised.
