GARY DAVIS STOREY It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, brother and uncle, Gary Davis Storey on May 15, 2017, at 82 years of age. Gary was predeceased by his wife Beverley (Worthington), and leaves to celebrate his life his daughter Sandra, son Todd (Karla), sister Dorynne (Tom), friend Judy, brothers-in-law Percy, Ron (Judy) and Bill (Leslie), sisters-in-law, Carol and Joan (Charlie), as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Gary was born and raised near Arden, Manitoba. There he made many friendships that continued throughout his life. Living on the farm created the right environment for Gary to develop his incredible "do-it-yourself" approach to building, troubleshooting or repairing just about anything. He had a surprising aptitude for understanding most things electrical and mechanical without formal training. No project was too big or too challenging for Gary, and he enjoyed helping family and friends on their own projects whenever he was asked. Gary was a very humble, considerate and gentle person. He had a great appreciation for animals and nature, and was happiest when he was in the company of family and friends. He was a caring and devoted father willing to help out his daughter and son whenever he could. In recent years he was dutifully kept company by his cat Sunny, who brought him countless hours of companionship and entertainment. A special thanks to Dr. Rowland Hayward as well as nurse Helene at St. Boniface Hospital ward E6. A gathering to celebrate Gary's life with family and friends will be announced at a later date.
