Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Our world has lost one of the kindest, caring, vibrant and joyous spirits I have had the privilege to share time with. Vi set the bar high as an example of finding happiness along life's highway. My sincere condolences to Debbie, John & family. May you be resting in peace sweet lady. - Posted by: Debbie Teerhuis (Neighbours) on: Sep 09, 2017

  • I have known and worked with Vi for a couple of years she was an amazing person, and one whom I was proud to call my friend. I was glad to be able to have a brief visit with her at the St.Boniface. Very sad, I will miss all the chats we had about her dogs etc. R.I.P Vi until we meet again. Condolences and prayers to the rest of the family. - Posted by: Margaret Ralph (Co-worker (Ecole Louis Riel school)) on: May 23, 2017

  • You will be truly missed. Dolly and I will miss talking to you almost weekly. Vi, you will always be in my heart and mind with all the great memories we shared. Till we meet again with all my love your favorite brother ( our joke since you only had one ) Miss you. - Posted by: Dennis Scott (Brother) on: May 20, 2017

  • My sincere condolences to Vi's family and her friends (especially her co-workers at Sobey's on Dakota Street). I only knew Vi as the lady who made the best and tastiest samples at Sobey's. However, her simple, sweet and cheerful demeanour made of her an event for me almost every day when I stopped in for groceries. I must confess that sometimes I convinced myself that I needed something at the store so that I could say hello to my friend, Vi. I already miss her as the spot she stood with her electric pan is gone. Vi made a big difference in my life with her little way of simply being present to people. Her absence is deeply felt. - Posted by: Fr. Phil Daley (A friend) on: May 20, 2017
