We miss you dear friend and our mom far from home, Kenya. Together with your late husband Hugo, you fostered us in the early 1980s while we studied at University of Manitoba. May you rest in God's hands 🙏💕 - Posted by: SABINA WANGIA/Caleb Wangia (Students and Friends from Kenya) on: Apr 20, 2025

We remember the great times our family had with Hugo and Katherine and their family. The meals and visits we had together at your home were highlights. We thank Katherine for her great hospitality and the times she looked after our young children. Hugo and Katherine were a great source of strength and encouragement on our spiritual journey. - Posted by: Lloyd Penner, Emma Maendel (Friend) on: May 22, 2017
