PATRICIA COLES Peacefully, in the early morning of May 15, 2017, Patricia Coles passed away at Kildonan Personal Care Home. Fondly known as Pat, she was an auntie, great-aunt, great-great-aunt and friend to many. Pat would have celebrated her 102nd birthday this September. She will be forever missed and always loved. Pat was born in Winnipeg in 1915 to Mildred and Richard Coles who emigrated from Wales. She was predeceased by her parents and all six of her siblings. In her early twenties, she began her career at the Hudson's Bay Company in the accounting department. She remained employed until her retirement in 1980 at age 65 years. Pat's retirement years were spent with good friends travelling abroad and spending many summers at her favourite place, Grand Beach. As well, Pat spent many weekends with her nephew Bob Kelly and family at their home near Birdshill Park. Pat is survived by her nephew Bob Kelly and his family, Isabelle Kelly, Georgia and family of Toronto, Rick Wincup and family in Portage la Prairie and many great-nephews and nieces in Canada and the United States. Pat was involved and attended St. Michael and All Angels Church in Fort Rouge. Always baking, knitting or making a craft to donate to the church bizarre. Her faith in God was unshakable and her loyalty and devotion to her church was a constant in her life. Her generosity continued outside the church, always giving to others in need. She had many favourite charities, especially animal shelters, The Humane Society, SPCA, CancerCare Manitoba, MS Society and World Vision. She loved animals, especially cats and dogs. Heaven has gained a truly special angel. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017, at 12:30 p.m., at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, 300 Hugo Street North, Winnipeg. A private family interment will take place at Chapel Lawn at a later time. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 seasonsfunerals.ca

Pat was a very kind lady who lived her faith. A gentle, quiet spirit now at rest, and will always be remembered. - Posted by: barrie and pat.fraser (parish memebers) on: May 20, 2017
