Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORA HAZELWOOD (nee BURKETT) Born August 28, 1927 Passed away May 31, 2017 Dora passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, surrounded by family, at the Pinawa Hospital. Dora was employed with Eaton's for many years. She enjoyed spending time at the beach in the Whiteshell where she spent her time in its beauty and peacefulness. Dora loved to play cards and spend time with her family. She wintered down in Texas, and was the volunteer of the year (two times). Dora was predeceased by her husband Sidney, and daughter Patty. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Sharon (Ray), Sandra (Lois), Wayne (Debbie), Martin (Kathy) and Beth (René); numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Funeral service June 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church, 825 School Rd. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Pinawa Hospital for all their care and support.
